HIV and AIDS monitoring
The North West HIV and AIDS monitoring unit was established in 1995 and is Centre for Public Health’s longest running public health monitoring system. The unit collects data annually on the treatment and care of HIV positive individuals in the North West of England from 39 treatment centres including genitourinary medicine, infectious disease units, and specialist haematology and paediatric units.
