My primary role within the Centre is as Trauma and Injury Intelligence Group (TIIG) Project Officer for Lancashire.  I am currently involved in the early stages of the implementation and development of the TIIG Injury Surveillance System. Once the system is in full operation it will collect, analyse and report on accident/injury data across Lancashire.

I am also involved in the organisation and coordination of the Club Health Conference 2008. The Club Health is a biannual conference focusing on a wide range of issues that affect the health of young people in nightlife settings. The conferences are interdisciplinary, bringing together individuals from a wide range of fields to help promote better interagency understanding of nightlife issues and hence better partnership working to create safer night time environments.

Prior to this role I studied for my Law degree (LLB) and Masters in Business and Company Law (LLM) both at Liverpool John Moores University.
