As a Researcher working within the Drug Interventions Programme (DIP) team my primary role is to design and undertake research projects that are of interest to the team and funded by the university.  I am currently developing a proposal for an investigative study into the diversion of methadone onto the illicit market.  I am also involved in the fieldwork elements of two evaluation projects; I am arranging and conducting client interviews as part of the Liverpool Alcohol Treatment Criminal Justice Pilot Evaluation and will shortly be conducting client follow-ups in Liverpool, Manchester and Cheshire for an evaluation of the Home Office’s Alcohol Arrest Referral scheme.

Prior to joining LJMU I worked as a Research Analyst for a private company on a range of public health-related projects including an alcohol harm reduction strategy, a smoking cessation social marketing campaign and evaluations of healthy living centres.
